FlyPix Patch: v3.11.1

· 2 min read

Version 3.11.1 adds a few small improvements to the annotations table and Analytics panel: step through rows with First/Previous/Next/Last controls or the arrow keys, select annotations directly from the table, and see an Object Distribution bar summarizing objects by class. Tenants with a current or past paid subscription can now also manage it from the plan selection page or their profile. This release also fixes a brief flash of "nothing selected" when clicking an annotation or region on the map.

FlyPix Release: v3.11.0

· 5 min read

Version 3.11.0 introduces custom Data Properties, letting projects define their own schema of fields — booleans, numbers, strings, colors, dates, enums, objects, and lists — for every annotation, manageable right from the inspector and included in GeoJSON export/import. The annotations table also gains a column for each data property and for each annotation's layer, with per-column sorting and type-aware filtering. Other notable changes include a move of the annotations table into its own module, simplified advanced training settings, table filters that now affect map visibility, relaxed inference region validation, and broader WMTS projection support. This release also fixes a handful of minor issues.

FlyPix Release: v3.10.0

· 3 min read

Version 3.10.0 lets you rate Geosense's chat responses directly from the conversation, with an optional category and details form to tell us more. Geosense also now streams its final response as it is generated and runs on a larger language model for improved response quality. Our public API now supports authentication with API keys, which you can create and manage from a new page in the profile menu, and models can now be applied to WMTS layers and externally linked COGs, though training on these sources is still in development. Annotation editing has also been made a bit easier by adding a save shortcut and a fixed save button. We've also fixed a handful of minor issues, including a websocket event delivery gap on tenants a user didn't own and a legend overlap in the workspace analytics chart.

FlyPix Patch: v3.9.1

· 3 min read

Version 3.9.1 of the FlyPix app adds a new "Vertex Count" property for polygon annotations, along with a metrics section on frozen dataset pages covering annotation counts, area, and per-class breakdowns. Selecting a subset of regions or vectors in the dataset details page is also easier now, thanks to a refined tristate bulk toggle. Additionally, geometries exceeding 1000 vertices are no longer validated for issues like self-intersection, preventing the application from freezing or crashing on very large geometries. This release also includes a couple of smaller fixes to improve overall stability.

FlyPix Release: v3.9.0

· 3 min read

This release introduces in-app Feature Announcements, so you are notified directly within the app whenever there are notable updates. A new "What's new?" chip on the navigation bar gives you a dedicated place to catch up on them. It also brings two Geosense refinements: Find Similar can now create and assign a class automatically when no matching class exists, and the chat input remains usable while a previous message is still sending. It also updates the base model type of Instance Detection models, improving accuracy and generalization. Several other fixes round out the release, improving overall app stability.

FlyPix Release: v3.8.0

· 3 min read

Version 3.8.0 brings live status reporting to GeoSense, so you can follow each step of the agent's analysis in real time. It also includes better and more polished insights from Context you send to Geosense. This release also adds interactive context chip details, workspace widget state persistence, and improved feedback across several UI actions.

FlyPix Release: v3.7.0

· 5 min read

Version 3.7.0 introduces external imagery import, allowing you to reference public Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs, connect to WMTS services, or create rasterless files scoped to any geographic extent — all without uploading a file. This release also deepens Geosense capabilities with a Find Similar integration and session contextualization warnings, adds Shapefile and GeoPackage upload support, and improves how the app handles annotations with geometry issues.

FlyPix Release: v3.6.0

· 3 min read

Version 3.6.0 focuses on navigation and annotation flexibility in the workspace. You can now rotate the map directly, level the view against real-world features in two clicks, and collapse the workspace sidebar for more working space.

This release also adds regular polygon variants to the Bounding Box and Oriented Box tools, expands region description length to 250 characters, and improves platform visibility with in-app documentation links and a new status page. Polygon training regions and the georasters page have been removed in this version for compatibility purposes.

FlyPix Release: v3.5.0

· 5 min read

Version 3.5.0 brings major GeoSense improvements — multi-session management, a rich chat overhaul with tables, lists, and displays, and expanded vector layer context. This release also adds polygon and oriented selection tools, automatic project thumbnails, and new Public API endpoints for annotations and GeoSense.
