FlyPix Release: v4.6.0
Version 4.6.0 brings GeoPackage support to vector layers. .gpkg files
can be imported directly in your browser from any coordinate system,
and annotations can be exported as GeoPackage with the same options
as GeoJSON. Any vector layer can now be zoomed to from the Data panel.
GeoSense follows the page you are on, so questions about "this" refer
to the open project, dataset, model or map. Its answers now use credits,
with each cost shown in the chat and recorded in the credit history,
and credit amounts throughout the app now show cents. Projects,
AI models and datasets are split into numbered pages, and their search
matches names. The Data Market offers earlier years of national
orthophotos and a capture date filter that can be typed. Classes can be
renamed from project settings, dataset and model details show their
GSD range, and training regions are no longer limited in size.
This release also fixes a handful of issues.
Changelog
New Features and Improvements
Dataset details now show the GSD range of their files, as frozen datasets already did. Model details show the GSD range of the frozen dataset the model was trained on.
Orthophotos in the Data Market now also offer their earlier years, for the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Flanders, France, Tennessee, South Carolina and Portugal. Pick one or more years when you acquire one, and each acquired file is named after its year.
Classes can now be renamed from the project's Settings tab and the Class Management dialog, without opening the workspace.
The Import Vector Layer dialog now reads .gpkg files directly
in your browser, just like GeoJSON, and reprojects files in any
coordinate system to EPSG:4326. Pick the layer to import from
multi-layer files, then map the file's columns to classes, confidence
and data properties
before importing.
The annotation export dialog now offers a GeoPackage (.gpkg)
format next to GeoJSON, with the same options: coordinate system,
class, vector and raster filters, and which properties and
data properties
to write, under the column names you choose. The vector layer, raster
and workspace menus say Export Layer, Export all layers and
Export full workspace, as they are no longer GeoJSON-only.
The context menu of each vector layer in the Data panel now has a Zoom to Layer option that fits the map to all of the layer's annotations, without changing your current selection.
Changes
Training regions larger than 25 MP can now be drawn, and existing regions of any size can be switched to training. Such regions show a warning with the option to split them instead.
GeoSense now knows which project, dataset, model or map page is open, and keeps up as you navigate, so questions about "this" refer to it. In the workspace it also knows every raster open side by side.
Capture dates in the Data Market search filter can now be typed, and are no longer limited to the past 24 months. One-click presets cover the last 30 days, 6 or 12 months, and each of the last three calendar years. The filter now opens by default, and its changes apply immediately, without an Apply button. Filters in use are listed above Search Data, where each can be cleared individually.
GeoSense answers now use credits. Each answer shows what it cost a few seconds after it arrives, the session shows its total, and every charge appears in the credit history. Without credits left, GeoSense offers a top-up instead of answering, and the message you typed stays in place.
Cost estimates, balances and credit transactions now show cents,
so small costs are no longer rounded to whole credits.
An amount below one cent reads < 0.01.
The projects page now shows how many pages of projects there are, and any page can be opened directly. When acquiring Data Market data, the project list pages and searches through all of your projects, and the dashboard's project count includes every project, also for organizations with more than 200 of them. The AI Models page and a project's AI Models tab are paged the same way, and their search now matches model names. So are the My Models and External tabs when applying a model, where External now lists every trained model of your organization, not only the newest 200. Datasets and frozen datasets, on the Datasets page and in a project, are paged too, and their search matches dataset names.
A workspace description that is cut off on its card in the project now shows in full when you hover it, without opening the edit dialog.
Fixes
Changes to a project's property schema made by another user or in another tab now appear without reloading the page.
A GeoSense approval request showing the action's details no longer keeps growing and scrolling the conversation in some browsers.
A failed sign-in no longer sends you back to the login page in a loop. It now shows an error page with the option to try again.
