FlyPix Release: v4.4.0
Version 4.4.0 takes GeoSense out of the workspace. It now lives in the chat widget in the corner of every page, where you can start a conversation about your whole organization or a single project, pick up any earlier conversation, and widen the chat to a full view with your conversations beside it. Its answers link to your projects, rasters, annotations, regions, models and orders, and show them on the map from wherever you are. Support moves into the same widget, as a Help Desk tab beside GeoSense. GeoSense can also act on the platform for you, asking for your approval before anything that costs credits or deletes something.
Elsewhere, the Analytics table can change an annotation's class, lists keep their page, search and sorting in the page's address, rasters without a transparency channel can hide their black or white background, and the public API is available as an MCP server. The Data Market adds aerial imagery of Finland and shows each source's licence credit, Change Detection results are broken down by size, and a chat helps you choose your first plan. This release also fixes a handful of issues.
Changelogβ
Major New Features
GeoSense has moved from the workspace panel into the chat widget in the corner of every page, so you can ask it about your data from anywhere in the app. Conversations can cover your whole organization or a single project, and you can browse all of them, narrowed to the current project when you are in one. Maximize the chat for a full view with your conversations beside it. Annotations, rasters, regions and other items GeoSense mentions now load and link from any page, and inside a workspace GeoSense still sees and acts on your map. Support now has its own Help Desk tab in the same widget. See the GeoSense deep dive for more details.
New Features and Improvements
A new "Transparency" control in raster compositing settings can treat a raster's pure black and/or pure white background as transparent, for rasters that lack a proper transparency channel. Choose to ignore black, white, both, or neither, and optionally pick which band drives transparency.
The page, search text and sort order of lists such as projects, files, datasets and models are now kept in the page's address. Reloading, sharing the link, or coming back to the page later shows the list exactly as it was left.
GeoSense can now act on the platform for you, such as checking your account or placing an order. A new platform tools toggle beside the send button allows this for the current conversation, and is off for every new one. Without it, GeoSense asks before it first uses them. Anything that costs credits or deletes something always waits for you to approve or reject it, or you can reply with something else instead. A collapsible "Platform activity" line shows each step GeoSense took. When GeoSense asks a question, you can also type an answer of your own instead of picking one of its options.
The Class column in the Analytics panel's attribute table is now a class picker. Choose a different class to reclassify that annotation without opening the Inspector panel. The change can be undone like any other edit.
The public API is now also available as an MCP server, so AI assistants such as Claude can work with your FlyPix data using your API key. See MCP Integration for setup instructions.
Orthophotos of Finland, including Γ land, from the National Land Survey of Finland are now available in the Data Market, ready to add to a project like the other national orthophoto sources.
While choosing your first plan, a chat in the bottom-right corner lets you tell us your use case, and we'll help you find the plan that fits it.
Data Market imagery whose licence requires a credit now shows it: under the offer in the Data Market search results, and in the bottom-right corner of the map once the imagery is in a workspace.
Changes
Change Detection results in the Scenes panel now list one row per detected size, with its count and its own visibility toggle, instead of a single combined count. Rerunning with other sizes no longer hides earlier results: each size shows its most recent run. Each size is drawn on the map in its class color, which also appears on the size tiles of the Run Change Detection modal. Export and copy include only the sizes currently shown.
The Projects page header now shows labelled Start Assisted Setup and New Project buttons instead of two small icon buttons. The tiles at the end of the project list were replaced by Create a new Project and Assisted Setup banners, so they are no longer mistaken for projects.
The app now opens on the project you last opened instead of the dashboard. A new account opens its sample project, and with no single obvious project the app opens your projects list. The dashboard is still one click away in the sidebar. In the workspace, the Inspector panel (with GeoSense) and the Scenes panel (with Analytics) now start collapsed so the map gets the full screen. Click either panel's edge to open it.
GeoSense responses now appear gradually at a comfortable reading pace instead of in sudden bursts, with a cursor marking where the response is being written. Tables, questions and other elements appear as soon as they start, and an empty message no longer shows up while a response is starting.
Fixes
The processing list on the dashboard no longer jumps back to its first page while processing updates arrive.
Editing a cell in the Analytics table now focuses its field right away, and typing there no longer triggers workspace shortcuts such as moving between rows or switching tools. Pressing Escape in any text field no longer clears the map selection or cancels an ongoing drawing.
Actions taken right after returning to the app from a long break, or after waking your computer, no longer fail because your sign-in had lapsed.
Fixed GeoSense message formatting: the spaces around bold text are kept, line breaks start a new paragraph where intended, and values such as coordinates or areas no longer break a sentence onto separate lines.
Opening the Scene Issues list, or the issues of a large selection in the Inspector panel, no longer freezes or crashes the workspace when there are thousands of issues. Both lists now scroll smoothly at any length.
While a workspace is still loading, the issues count no longer shows a partial result as if it were complete. The issues button shows that it is still checking, and counts annotation issues once every vector has loaded.
"Copy Dataset" no longer crashes the page when used from the tenant-wide Datasets page, outside a specific project.

GeoSense Full Journeyβ
GeoSense used to be a panel inside the workspace, and only existed while a workspace was open. It now lives in the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of every page, so the conversation follows you from the project list to a workspace and back.
Conversations for your organization or a project. A conversation started outside a project is about your organization as a whole, and one started inside a project is about that project. Browse Sessions lists every conversation in your organization. Inside a project, a Project / Project + Global / All switch narrows it to that project's conversations, optionally with your organization-wide ones.
A full view when you need room. The maximize button widens the chat to most of the screen, with your conversations listed beside the current one. The page behind it stays usable, and the chat remembers its size while you work. A new conversation opens with a short welcome and a few suggestions to start from.
Answers that link anywhere. Annotations, layers, folders, rasters, classes and regions that GeoSense mentions load on their own, so they show their real values and stay clickable outside a workspace too. Links to a trained model open the dataset it was trained on, links to an inference open its raster, and links to an order open its delivered data. Clicking an annotation or a region pans to it if it is on the map, switches the workspace to its raster if needed, or offers to open a workspace focused on it.
Still part of the workspace. Inside a workspace, GeoSense keeps receiving your selection, viewport and visibility settings, and its answers can still pan the map, highlight results and run Find Similar.
Support in the same place. The Help Desk tab beside GeoSense is where you reach our support team.
