FlyPix Release: v3.10.0

· 3 min read

Version 3.10.0 lets you rate Geosense's chat responses directly from the conversation, with an optional category and details form to tell us more. Geosense also now streams its final response as it is generated and runs on a larger language model for improved response quality. Our public API now supports authentication with API keys, which you can create and manage from a new page in the profile menu, and models can now be applied to WMTS layers and externally linked COGs, though training on these sources is still in development. Annotation editing has also been made a bit easier by adding a save shortcut and a fixed save button. We've also fixed a handful of minor issues, including a websocket event delivery gap on tenants a user didn't own and a legend overlap in the workspace analytics chart.

Changelog

New Features and Improvements

✨
Geosense Message Feedback

You can now rate Geosense's chat responses directly from the conversation. Thumbs up and down buttons appear on each response, and selecting one opens a short form where you can optionally choose a category and add details before submitting. Once feedback is given for a response, it is shown alongside it and can no longer be changed.

✨
API Key Support

Our public API now supports authentication with API keys. You can create, view, and delete your API keys from a new page in the profile menu.

✨
Geosense Streaming

Geosense now streams its final response as it is generated, so you can start reading it immediately instead of waiting for the entire response to be ready.

✨
Improved Geosense Capabilities

Geosense now runs on a larger language model, improving the quality of its responses.

✨
Enabled Inference on External Sources

You can now apply models to WMTS layers and Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs (COGs) imported into the app via link. Support for training on these sources is still in development and not yet available.

Changes

🔄
Improved Annotation Edit Save Button Placement

We have moved the "Save" button in annotation edit mode to a fixed panel at the bottom of the viewport. This ensures that editing large annotations isn't an extra hassle. You can also opt to confirm annotation editing by pressing the Enter key, if you so prefer.

Fixes

🔧

We have fixed an issue involving websockets where users would not receive update events if they were actively on a tenant they didn't own.

🔧

The legend in the workspace analytics modal no longer overlaps with the chart when there is an excessive number of displayed classes.
